experience

Lyssa Wyn has been painting since she was 10 years old, and a professional artist full-time since September of 2017. She has participated in many art exhibitions around the Southeast United States, and has both private and public art displays throughout Florida.

professional style

Lyssa finds inspiration through her love of travel and the outdoors and specializes in the natural states of life - water, lighting, landscapes and wildlife. Her style is a bit of realism with a dream-like quality and slightly over saturated feel, as she is passionate about color and it’s affect on the psyche. She paints using acrylic and oil paints, along with the occasional addition of leafing and mediums.

Though landscapes and water are her specialty, her versatility has allowed her to paint and draw on everything imaginable, from motorcycles and furniture, to large scale buildings, sculptures and more.

background

Lyssa is a self-taught fine artist, muralist, visionary, and creator.

Lyssa was born in Sarasota, Florida in 1985, with a passion for art and has been creating since the first time she figured out how to grasp something and leave a mark. She spent her early childhood in Albuquerque, New Mexico and with each birthday, requested the newest art supplies, desks, and easels. At 10 years old, her family moved to Moscow, Idaho where her love and passion for nature grew as she desired to capture the beauty of the natural world. Upon graduation in 2003, Lyssa relocated back to Florida, where she has now lived for nearly 19 years.

In 2018, Lyssa decided to relocate to Cocoa, Florida to pursue her natural talent and purpose- a career in Fine Art. Today, she finds her inspiration locally through the beach and all forms of water, but also loves the forests, mountains, deserts, snow, and spring time meadows. Her favorite way to gather inspiration is to immerse herself completely in an experience, and then capture that experience in her paintings.

Today she is a mother, partner, friend, gardener and a pursuer of the best life possible: one over flowing with joy.
