“Growth” is, to date, one of my favorite pieces. It’s actually a repaint of “Placidity in Greens” which was one of my first paintings to sell.
Why repaint it? I’m currently being mentored by the wonderfully talented, Phillip Anthony, and it was upon his suggestion that I proceeded with the repaint. He said it would be the best way to gauge my growth as an artist. The original was smaller and done in acrylic. “Growth” is 18x24 on stretched canvas and painted in oil. The subject matter is that of Juniper Springs, which is a fresh water spring located within the Eastern section of Ocala National Forest. The frame is from the Studio Home collection at Michael’s, and has been papered and wired, ready to hang in your home, office, study or business.
Because “Growth” is a repaint of a painting, there will not be any prints of it.
